In the State of NJ
teachers are required to complete twenty hours of professional development per year in order to meet the state standard of
100 hours within a five year period. Our use of Professional development as an alternative assessment is in line with
The Preamble of the State of New Jersey Department of Education: Academic and Professional Standards.
